 Day 1: Arrival in Colombo

· Accommodation: Hilton Colombo (B/B – Bed and Breakfast)

· Activities: Arrive at Colombo, your driver will meet you at the airport. Relax, and perhaps explore the city if you have time.

Day 2: Colombo to Dambulla

· Accommodation: Dambulla (H/B – Half Board)

· Activities: Drive to Dambulla (around 4-5 hours). Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple with its stunning rock carvings and Buddha statues. (optional)

Day 3: Dambulla to Polonnaruwa (Day Trip) 

· Accommodation: Dambulla (H/B – Half Board)

· Activities: Explore Polonnaruwa, an ancient city known for its well-preserved ruins like the Royal Palace and Gal Vihara.

Day 4: Dambulla to Sigiriya

· Accommodation: Dambulla (H/B – Half Board)

· Activities: Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress, one of Sri Lanka’s most famous landmarks. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers great views and historical ruins at the top.

Day 5: Dambulla to Kandy

· Accommodation: Kandy (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)

· Activities: Stop by a Spice Garden on the way to Kandy. In Kandy, visit the Temple of the Tooth, Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya and enjoy a Kandyan cultural dance performance in the evening.

Day 6: Kandy to Nuwara Eliya

· Accommodation: Nuwara Eliya (F/B – Full Board)

· Activities: Visit the Damro Tea Factory on the way, where you can learn about the tea production process and tea plucking. In Nuwara Eliya, enjoy the cool weather, visit Victoria Park or explore the Gregory Lake area.

Day 7: Nuwara Eliya to Ella (via Train)

· Accommodation: Ella (B/B – Bed and Breakfast)

· Activities: Take the scenic train ride from Nanuoya to Ella, a beautiful journey through tea plantations and mountains. Train fare is included. Ella is a quaint town perfect for unwinding and exploring Nine Arches Bridge and Ella Rock.

Day 8: Ella

· Accommodation: Ella (B/B – Bed and Breakfast)

· Activities: Explore Ella for panoramic views. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this hill town. You may take a ayurvedic Massage.

Day 9: Ella to Yala

· Accommodation: Yala (B/B – Bed and Breakfast)

· Activities: Drive to Yala, famous for its wildlife. You’ll have a safari tour in Yala National Park to spot animals like leopards, elephants, and numerous birds.

Day 10: Yala to Ratnapura

· Accommodation: Ratnapura (B/B – Bed and Breakfast)

· Activities: Visit a gem mine and learn about the gem industry in Sri Lanka. Explore the Ratnapura Gem Museum to understand the history and significance of Sri Lanka's gemstones.

Day 11-13: Ratnapura to Mirissa

· Accommodation: (H/B – Half Board)

· Activities: Relax and unwind in Mirissa. The beach is perfect for swimming, relaxing, or water sports. On Day 12, consider going for whale watching in Mirissa Harbour, as it’s one of the best places to spot whales and dolphins in Sri Lanka.

Day 14: Mirissa to Galle

· Accommodation: Galle Fort (BB – Bed and Breakfast)

· Activities: On your way to Galle, stop at a Turtle Hatchery to learn about conservation efforts. In Galle, explore the Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site with a mix of colonial and local architecture, and enjoy the scenic coastal views.

Important Notes:

· Twin Sharing: The package is priced for twin-sharing, so if you’re traveling with a companion, this is perfect! The price may vary based on availability of rooms at the selected hotels.

· Whale Watching: If you're planning to go whale watching in Mirissa, it's best to book this separately, as the fee is not included in the package.

· Entrance Fees: Entrance fees for sites (like Yala National Park or Sigiriya) aren’t included, so be prepared to cover those costs as you go.

· Train Ticket & Safari: The package includes your train ticket for the ride from Nanuoya to Ella, and the safari jeep for Yala National Park. However, park entry fees are an additional cost.

Travel Dates:

· Your travel dates between March 2025 to October 2025 are great, especially for whale watching (best time is generally from November to April).
